Jolug members are system admins, developers, programmers, network designers, service providers, students, instructors, and other people who are interested in GNU/Linux and its technology.
The expertise of our members varies from the merely inquisitive to the long-time professional with years of experience.
Some of our members are employed at prestigious corporations, some are not currently employed, and many fall between the extremes. As a group, our purpose is to:
- Create a network of personal and technical resources
- Improve knowledge of Linux and its technologies
- Focus on sharing information from the Linux user community about its experiences
- Provide an open forum for the exchange of ideas
- Bring together Linux users throughout Jordan
